Great opportunity to snag a beautiful, vintage /5 toaster with the desirable long wheel base and under 21K original miles. The bike is a beauty, triple matching numbers. It is a BLAST to ride! Starts and runs great. All gauges & switches working as they should. Original seat, tool kit, and an original set of BMW cases (with installed brackets) all included. I keep it on a tender all the time when not being ridden. Serviced by MAX BMW in South Windsor, CT: Valve timing, valve cover gaskets, new rear shocks, carbs synced, oil and filter all done this year. B oth petbirds, fuel filters, and fuel lines replaced, b rake system flushed and fluid replaced, gearbox oil and gasket rings replaced, final drive, driveshaft fluid and gasket rings replaced 2021. Electric and kick start (I have never used the kick start and do not know for sure if it works). The bike is in great shape and a blast to ride. I believe the white paint and pin-striping to be original (as does MAX BMW), but I cannot be 100% sure. The paint and chrome are very nice overall, the front fender and tank show couple scratches which you can see in the pics. Bike shifts and handles beautifully, brakes are to spec (do not try to stop on a dime! ). The opposed twin 750 has a ton of torque. Short video gives a sense of the awesome sound of the bike. This bike is equally awesome on New England back roads and the interstate. Selling because I am not riding any more and this bike needs to be ridden. Sold with current Vermont reg as Vermont does not issue titles for vintage bikes. This bike will only appreciate in value. Deposit due upon purchase. Balance in cash or via verified bank wire.
