Description:
1973 BMW R60/5 with an R90/6 top end. I am selling this for a friend. The top end was from an earlier R90/6, 1974, so no modifications were required. The miles shown on the odometer are correct with the original 600 top end and the 900 top end on it for the last 4000 miles or less. Other than the cylinders, pistons, heads and carbs, everything else is the original R60/5. This is the long wheelbase model with a beautiful toaster tank. The paint on it is almost perfect except for a small spot on the right side of the rear fender. It runs excellent and was very well maintained. It has the accessory rear rack and the original tool kit and tire pump.
