1973 Harley-Davidson Custom, This bike is signed up 1973 Harley Davidson Shovelhead, not unique construction, nevertheless it is no longer an AMF Harley. Everything other than for the engine cases, trans case, and the barrels have been replaced. The engine has a S and S stoker kit and is 88 cu. in. with andrews cams and a S and S Super E Carb and electronic ignition. It is both kick and electrical start. All of the oil lines are steel braided with airplane aluminum fittings. The frame is a Santee with an chrome adjustable swing arm. The rear shocks are Smoothride billet aluminum air adjustable shocks. The front end consist of German Made solid billet xtra large (12) triple trees with 12 degrees of rake (with the 36 degree frame total rake has to do with 48 degrees) with 10 over extended fork tubes and JP lower legs. The rear wheel is 16 solid billet with virtually new Avon rubber. The front wheel is a 21 akron aluminum with ss spokes and once more virtually brand-new Avon rubber. The brakes (dual disk front) and all of the controls are Performance Machine Billet aluminum. All the sheet metal is custom and the paint (pictures do not do the color justice) is a deep purple with a specialized paint that is colored with dye as opposed to pigment (expense 600.00 a quart) it will never fade. Every part on this bike is top of the line. I have had this bike for over 15 years.
