This 1973 Suzuki GT 550 Three Cylinder Two stroke motorcycle has been sitting in a Harley Davidson Dealership in Kansas, since 1978, where it arrived as a trade-in for an American bike. The owner of the dealership was a former racer himself, and enjoyed the value of having this bike on display in his showroom, amongst BSA, and other race bikes of the era. It has a true low mileage of 7,090 miles total, and has been parked in a heated and A/C controlled display area for the past 44 years, and comes with the original title from Kansas, with notary stamp and bill of sale. The compression is very tight, and the only complaints are that there is a dimple dent on the front fender where someone dropped something vertically onto it, but should be easily corrected. Light paint wear to the head-stock BLACK painted metal, but the chrome is impeccable in it's shine and finish. There is no corrosion anywhere. There are three minor paint nicks on the right side of the tank from a metal strap on a high boot, or riding leathers of the era. Very light and honest patina. It is as close to new as one can getWe have not begun the starting process, but if you remove the fuel tank and clean the tank and carbs, it will run exceptionally well. All of the lines, hoses, and electric wiring is supple, and very very clean. Imagine this being sitting in a climate controlled space, being cleaned weekly with a light dry cloth dusting. May as well have been in a museum. Absolutely original and un -restoredIf you need this shipped, I will gladly provide door to door for a low fee, to be discussed between us when you are ready to purchase this rare beauty. It is a true time machine. The beginning of super bikes. FINAL photo shows how the bike will be delivered to you- Inside an enclosed van, protected from the elements, and prying eyes. Your delivery will be very personal and as private or public as you like. Aferall, it is your party!If this bike does not sell in this first 30 day cycle, we will be pulling the fuel tank off and doing a carb cleaning / rebuild. The front fender will be replaced with the NOS one that we have for a different project, and it will re-list for an increased amount.
