Here’s your chance to own this original Elsinore 125 that was on the cover of Bike Journal International and was also featured in the magazine. A restored 1974 125 recently sold for 11k-12k and another one just sold for $8,300 on Bringatrailer. You can can always restore a bike with aftermarket parts and repaint the tank but an original MX bike and tank will only be original once! This will always be the better investment and this one even retains the original side number plates that are usually missing or replaced with reproductions. The grips, seat, exhaust, silencer etc is all original down to the tires and wheels it came with in 1974. As you can tell the bike has not been ridden much and it certainly wasn’t raced. It’s been lightly ridden in the desert here and there but has been on display most of its life. Included in this sale is the vintage Honda helmet that was used with this bike since 1975. See the last 3 photos of the helmet. The only part from my understanding that was replaced was the front fender rubber flap but I may still have the original and “if” I can find it I will include it as well. The magazine and any other paperwork I have for the Elsinore will also be included. The bike is currently running and serviced. It starts easily with 1 or 2 kicks and has always been the bike you can depend on. Frame number is being kept private as a courtesy and security for the new owner. The Elsinore does NOT come with a warranty or title. A bill of sale will be written for the buyer once the bike is paid for and the funds have cleared. Shipping fees and arrangements are the buyer’s responsibility. I can hold the bike for 30 days if needed. I can also extend that time frame if you need more time to hire a shipper just let me know. Bike is located in LA County, California. Details can be provided once the bike is purchased. The bike is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the listing early if it is purchased directly.$500 Non Refundable Deposit is due immediately at end of listing. Full payment is due within 3 business days via Wire Transfer or cash on pickup but $500 is due here through Ebay at end of listing. Thank you.
