The bike offered here, of 1974 vintage, is of the last year for the improved 850 model. Actually with a capacity of 828cc, the engine is of similar power, but far less stressed for increased rideability and reliability. The bike was subject to a full restoration some years ago, and used sparingly since, with only 420 miles on the odometer since that time. Since then, it has been meticulously stored, serviced and regularly maintained. The bike has been built to ride with a Boyer electronic ignition for increased reliability and performance. Having not been ridden for some time, the bike was recently fully re-commissioned including brake, forks, electrical and fuel system overhaul. The bike now runs perfectly. It starts easily and idles well. The engine has great compression with strong and responsive power and the gearbox shifts smoothly through a good clutch. The brakes are excellent, especially the front like a modern bike! and all electrical works as it should. Cosmetically the bike is in excellent condition.
