I have restored many Yamahas. There’s no such thing as an original bike in honestly ‘great’ condition. After 50 years, they all need the following replacement parts: tires, tubes, rubbers, grommets, carburetor gaskets and o rings,fork seals/dust covers, engine seals, clutch disc, clutch hub rubbers, air filter, seat foam and brakes. If it has 2,500 miles of use or more, it will also need: a bore job, piston and, while it’s apart, the connecting rod and bearings should be replaced.All of my bikes are completely restored. I will be listing approximately 35 Yamahas from 1969 thru 1974 models including: AT1, AT1MX, AT2, AT2MX, AT3, AT3MX, CT1,CT2, CT3, and 1974 MX125.This Yamaha is completely restored. It has a completely rebuilt engine. New parts include: rod kit, crank bearings, seals, clutch, piston, coil, points, condenser, intake boot & filter. Other new parts include: bars, grips, levers, perches, kill button, NOS cables and all new rubber parts. New shifter, fork tubes, seals, dust covers, front and rear rims, spokes, nipples, shocks, tires, chain, sprockets, brake shoes,seat cover. Restored carburetor, original gas shutoff, gas cap,exhaust, kick starter, seat pan, front and rear hubs have been bead blasted and powder painted. All bolts and hardware have been bead blasted and re zinc plated. Frame, swing arm and all other pieces that are black have been bead blasted and powder coated. The yellow has been been professionally painted including a new gas tank decal. Email me with any questions.
