1975 Norton 850 Commando Mk 3, only year with electric start. 3rd owner since 2006. 34,363 miles (original speedo). Total mechanical and cosmetic restoration in 2019 with almost no miles since. All aluminum is highly polish (still requires annual polishing) Commando Specialties new steel (not India) made gas tank with new chrome petcocks with clearcoat polyurethane over black and gold pinstripes and Norton decals on tank and side covers. New UK made OEM chrome filler cap. Period fairing with paint and pin striping to match, easily removed. No rust, but light pitting on right side footpeg and rear wheel that is barely visible. Front brake master cylinder has SS sleeve. new Hepolite 850 piston .060 over and new con rods and bearings, Sudco Mukuni VM 34 carbs, Barnett clutch, head restored with new head gasket and seals, no broken cooling fins and lapped valves and seats, Podtronics voltage regulator and Power Arc electron ignition and coils, new key starter switch and console lights, new battery 2/23, new front fork seals, wheel bearing upgrades, braided oil lines, Corbin gunfighter seat, Dynodave high power 4 brush starter, most all hardware SS or chrome, new British Wire wiring harnesses, teflon line cables, Atlas Oil gauge. New oil pump gaskets and rubber anti sump seal. Norton designed an anti sump spring loaded plug as well, but performs poorly. Installed a BSA oil line antisump valve (slows it anyway) and all seals and gaskets have been renewed. No leaking from head or barrels. Don't ask if it weeps oil, of course it does, it is still a 50 year old British bike with aluminum on steel in spite of Yamaha bond on all gaskets. Now it's only on the inside of the primary cover from sumping if it sits too long. Maybe you can seal it better!!! Have original resleeved Amal carbs and KN filter for reinstalling with cables but no original air filter box, original seat and hardware, original crossover exhaust, and lots of other new and old misc parts. Factory parts and shop manual. Clean title. Prefer paypal and buyer arranges pickup.
