I bought this Norton in June of 1982. It was advertised as 'Norton Cover Girl', which I learned implied that it was the actual bike provided for the cover photo of the 3rd edition of the Clymer Norton manual.The seller was Eric Jorgensen, who was at that time the editor of the Clymer bike handbooks. The bike was his individual trip, which he had actually provided for the cover picture. It was offered new, and had been serviced up to the time of my purchase by Brian Slark Classic Motorcycles.The bike has actually never ever been engageded in an accident, or dropped. It has actually been well saved and weather-protected for its whole life. It has never been raced, conserve a couple of street races, which it has won each time.
