I bought this Norton in June of 1982. It was marketed as 'Norton Cover Girl', which I found out indicated that it was the real bike provided for the cover picture of the third edition of the Clymer Norton manual.The seller was Eric Jorgensen, who was at that time the editor of the Clymer motorbike manuals. The bike was his personal ride, which he had actually offered the cover picture. It was sold brand-new, and had been serviced up to the time of my purchase by Brian Slark Classic Motorcycles.The bike has never ever been involved in a mishap, or dropped. It has actually been well saved and weather-protected for its whole life. It has never ever been raced, save a few street races, which it has actually won whenever.
