Up for sale is a 1975 Norton Commando 850 MK3 Interstate Electric Start. I bought it from the original owner 7 or 8 years ago and thebike has always been in Nevada. Matching numbers bike and Clean Nevada title in my name. Selling justbecause of lack of space! Last registered in 1988, it has had 12,000 miles fromnew. The exhaust, seat and tank were removed and kept safe and so they are all invery good condition. There is very little rust anywhere as you can see. The paint, seat, even the tires all appear to be factory original. 1975s are the most desirable Commandos since it is the onlyyear with factory Electric Start. It costs $2800 to $3000 to fit an electricstart on standard Commandos. Front and rear disc brakes is another unique feature of1975s. The engine is stuck, and I did not make any attempt to turnit. The motorcycle will need full restoration as you can see in pictures. Thewiring harness and some rubber parts are seemingly disintegrated. No fluid inbrakes. I am British bike parts dealer and may be able to find allthe new parts required to restore this Norton at a discounted rate. The bike is 48 years old, and no warranties are expressed orimplied. It is sold as-is. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, and thebike will not leave my driveway unless full payment is received. I will make reasonableaccommodation to load the bike and can build a pallet for a small fee ifshipped internationally. I can possibly deliver within 300 miles from Vegas for a fee. $250 non-refundable deposit is required immediately afterthe auction ends.
