1975 Triumph Trident T160V This stunning numbers matching example of British design and quality workmanship has a 750cc 3 cylinder engine with a 5 speed transmission, electric beginning, front and rear hydraulic disc brakes and is the first manufacturing year Triumph had a left side equipment shift. It was purchased from the initial owner in 1981. The electric beginning works fantastic and the engine runs strong and smooth. The Triumph trips on Dunlop tires, front and rear, has the European style low bars and front fork gaiters. It maintains its still shiny and original tuned exhaust pipelines with Toga mufflers that sound fantastic. All the lights and signals work correctly. The large ability 5 gallon fuel tank was repainted in initial burgundy and white with gold pinstripe however the colors were reversed from initial as you can see from the photos. The following maintenance was recently performed on the Triumph at Legend Cycle in Idaho Falls, Idaho: Front and rear brake master cylinders rebuilt Carburetors restore and synchronized. (New gaskets filters and throttle rod seals installed) New 12 volt 16 amp battery, cable televisions and maintaining strap set up New fuel hose assembly set up New original Lucas oil cooler reflector installed New chrome seat trim installed New seat check wire installed Charging system checked Engine serviced and tuned. The front brake light switch was updated from the little undependable manual switch situated at the hand lever to an inline hydraulic pressure switch as first utilized on the 1979 Bonnevilles.
