Hey all,Selling my 75 Honda Xl250 motorcycle, hate to see her go. I did a lot of searching on these bikes when I bought it, and this is definitely one of the baddest looking xl's I've seen.. yet it is not in perfect riding condition. It is in pretty decent condition for being 40+ years old! Registered until next year.**Please read the description before asking questions to see if I may have answered it below!Selling it strictly because I do not know how to work on motorcycles, it seems to be more trouble than its worth considering time is so minimal for me.It comes with an extra tank, as well as the original tank with original paint as far as I know. I began to use the spare tank because the original tank is so old, its got some major wear underneath it, causing gas leaks. Nevertheless, the original tank aesthetically is still beautiful, and looks great on the bike.The bike has been in a minor crash, bending the front wheel a bit and also the brake lever (which still works fine, only bent), and I'm confident anyone who knows motorcycles wouldn't see this as a big problem. The crash also chipped the spare black tank a bit, and the headlight. The speedometer cable also broke as well.aside from that, the only problem notable is that the bike does leak a bit of oil, caused from a problem I never quite found out. From what I have heard it could be a pretty significant problem, but I ran the bike nonetheless and it NEVER gave me any problems. If you don't mind the leak, just give top it off with some more oil now and then and its all fine. However, it is notable enough for me to mention, and should be still considered.It has a bit of rust on the exhaust pipe, nothing, fortunately on the engine or any major part of the bike. It is looking good for 40 years old.. this year is its birthday :)Its still a great bike overall.I've had the carbs rebuilt within the last year, and its got a relatively new battery inside it, even the horn still works.It probably ran last around 6 months ago, I tried to get it running briefly the other day, didn't quite make it, but I know a bit of fiddling will get it working.Let me know of any questions or any other pictures you may want of the bike. I'm hoping it will go to a good caring home because It served me so well.
