Up for sale is this absolutely incredible condition enthusiast owned 1976 BMW r75/6This bike underwent a no limit restoration by its current caretaker in 2002 for his own personal collection and has been meticulously maintained and proudly ridden and shown since. In order to make room following relocation of storage, a few items from the collection are being offered for sale this bike included. Due to the experience with and appreciation for these classic BMWs this bike has clearly been fitted with many of the super valuable and rare OEM accessories any collector hunts for. Some of which include the following: Sport Cam and Pistons, Police Tank, Exhaust, Heated Grips, Cylinder Protectors, Shift Kit, S Fairing, Mikuni Carbs, Dual EBC Brake Rotors, KONI Shocks, Drilled Airbox, Brown Side Stand, Also has perfect OEM Center Stand, Full Hepco Becker Luggage & Racks, Dyna III Ignition, and more. The parts on this alone would be hard or impossible to collect together for a new build as anyone in this hobby knows, and would easily cost nearly what the bike in its entirety is being offered for. And that's just the parts! As mentioned the bike is damn near perfect restored rider condition. Fires right up, idles mint, rides incredible, and everything on the bike works and handles as it should or better. The bike needs nothing. I repeat nothing. It's such a pleasure to ride and is ready for all day multi 100 mile rips, its just that kind of bike. The paint is in excellent shape, the bright work is in excellent shape, the lenses, the gauges, the fearing, the rubber, the grips, the seat, all in excellent shape. Tires are newer and no dry, recent maintenance performed, driven on occasion, and ready to be cherished by someone new. If you've been looking for an investment quality classic r series, this one should be seriously considered.As mentioned the motorcycle is being listed for the owner who is also a good personal friend. I have had the privilege of inspecting, riding, and still have full access to the bike and him for any and all questions so please feel free to ask. Given the nature of the bike being a classic and all I stand by my description but of course it’s being sold as is to the highest bidder. Payment should be made following a deposit via cash or wire transfer. Shipping or pickup is the buyers responsibility but I will help organize as best I can just be sure to communicate. Will let go outright all accessories included for $14,500. Will also be listed local and on other forums so please don't sleep on it if you're interested! Pickup is expected no later than ten days from auction close or storage fees of $100/week will be invoiced. If things are in motion don’t worry I’ll work with you. Depending on the destination as well I may be able to help get a shipper involved or offer contacts in that regard if you want. At the end of the day, my reputation on here and my involvement in this classic autos community is so important to me. Please note any of my previous sales and feedback! Whoever winds up with this bike is going to get so much more than most others I've seen and can rest assured that it could not come with a more genuine history of maintenance and care. Clean clear title in hand and current registration and insurance. No test rides without actual cash in hand, but don't hesitate to schedule an inspection.
