For sale is a completely restored 1976 Honda GL1000 Goldwingin Sulfur Yellow with 43K miles. Honda's 1st generation of naked Goldwing's started in 1975 as a touring motorcycle.Thisbike has only been ridden less than 5 miles since it was completed. The restoration included stripping the bikedown to the frame. The frame, wheels,hubs, and fork tubes have been powder coated black. The engine was painted and while it was outof the bike the following was replaced: Timing belts, OEM Honda water pump, coolanthoses, Ricks Motorsports stator, clutch, and Honda fuel pump. New Dyna Tech electronic ignition and coils. Valves were adjusted and timing set. Carbs were rebuilt with all Randakk parts andHonda OEM needle and seats. Carbs were synced. Engine bolts were replaced with a stainless-steel Allen bolt kit.Wheels and hubs were powder coated and new stainless-steel spokeswere installed. New Challenger tires,tubes and rim rubber were installed. Drive shaft U-joint was replaced. Fork tubes were rebuilt. All 3brake calipers were rebuilt and new brake pads installed. Rear brake master cylinder was rebuilt andthe front master cylinder is new. Boththe left and right handlebar control switches are new. Throttle cables and clutch cable arenew. New muffler gaskets and clamps wereinstalled. New mirrors and handlebar grips.To finish, it has new spark plugs, battery, coolant, airfilter. rear diff oil, engine oil & filter. It includes the owner’s manual and tool kit.There is over 4K in parts invested in the restoration. JD Powers has this bike valued in excellent condition at 8495.00This bike is as close to brand new as you can get. I have all records.
