Description:

1976 Kawasaki KZ900 motorcycle. Compression disclosed 135 PSI on cyclinders # 2 and # 3 (145 PSI is normal). The bores are absolutely stock and 100 % original with less than.008 thousandths wear leading to bottom. I had the bores developed and the stock pistons Swain Moly-Coated with specific factory specs tolerances. I changed the manufacturing facility calls with NOS ones from the 1970's - still in their factory product packaging. The exhaust guides on the 900's were understood to use, so I installed new Kibble White guides, I had the ports all "blueprinted" to manufacturing facility design specs wherein all casting and mating surfaces flash was removed as you see in the photos. New, Stainless Kibble White valves, brand-new caretakers, and retainers were installed - replacing the originals. The valve seats were dealt with to a 3 angle Sunnen valve task while the stems were all matched completely to the defined stem heights. The cameras were examined versus manufacturing facility specs and definitely no wear or modifications from stock specs were discovered. New Factory/Kawaski roller, cam chain, and tensioner were set up. All seals, o-rings, and gaskets were changed with manufacturing facility parts. This bike and engine resemble new.
