1977 BMW R100S with 1,362 Original miles. Mileage is clearly documented on title @ 1,352 miles. It is triple matching numbers engine frame and data plate all match, makes this # 255 to come to the US production date of September 1976. Clear title. There are a few tiny paint chips here and there the paint is original as is everything on this bike except the factory windshield pin rivets have been replaced with sensible plastic screws. The seat lock has a different key for the lock. The inside of the tank has been coated likely due to someones paranoia. The bike runs fine has a one year old Yuasa Motosport sealed battery. The tires are original and should be replaced if the bike is to be ridden or for display purposes you can leave them on. The bike has been in complete climate control atmosphere. It is quite stunning. Half the price of an R90S and twice the fun. The standard BMW fork springs are known for being poor so these as original should be replaced if the bike will be ridden and not in a museum. It has the toolkit and the cable lock in the frame tube under the tank. All lights and charging system work fine. Brake calipers and master cylinder have been rebuilt and of course fresh fluids throughout. This is the real deal. Still available at ListedBuy!
