I'm selling my 1977 KZ1000 due to lack of time to ride and work on it for $2000.00 OBO. The bike has some modifications which include a 4 into 1 open pipe, custom seat, GS1100 swingarm, aftermarket coils, velocity stacks and electronic ignition. Unnecessary frame tabs were ground off (passenger peg mounts) and the wiring harness has been modified/simplified. She starts and runs but is running a bit rich. She shifts through the gears fine butwill need to have the carbs cleaned. The right fork seal is leaking a bit and will need to be replaced mostlikely from the trip home in my truck. The previous owner said he had a lot of money into the bike but needed to sell it to help pay some bills. The bike may have more modifications that I am not aware of.I changed the oil when I got her and have pretty much just ridden her up and down my local road putting on about 40 miles since owning her. When I purchased the bike, she had just a bit over 13,000 miles which matched the previous title. When I got it titled, they listed the mileage as exempt because of the age of the bike.This bike needs to go to someone that has the time to do a little work and the time to ride her. Since PA requires inspection, signals, horn kill switch, and maybe more will need to be wired in. In several pics of the bike, I have signals fitted to it. They were just placed there as a mock up and are not attached to the bike. Headlight, taillight and brake light all work fine.I have a PA title and it is registered in my name so the new owner will have to take a trip with me to the tag office to transfer.
