This is a fairly complete 1978 Maico MC400 I purchased many years ago. It has sat under a blanket since purchase. The motor is locked up (rings have probably fused to the steel cylinder liner). This is a very sought-after model. I have owned and restored well over a dozen Maico's ranging from 77 through 83 models. All were 400cc, 440cc and 490cc. The 400 motor is my favorites. Plenty of power and easier to start that the 490's. Time for it to go to a new owner. The only things that are missing in the picture are the perches/ levers and the throttle which will be included with the bike. It has the original "Falk" plastic which is in very nice condition. It also has the original pipe and silencer. Tank is in nicer condition than most.....NOTE: I do have a Magura throttle, both Magura perches with levers and a New front number plate that will be included with the bike (see last pic).
