This bike belonged to Richard Petty...no not that one...but interesting i thought. He rode it for 2 years, lost interest and put it away in his heated garage until i saw it at a yard sale at his house behind some boxes. The paint is in excellent condition with no fading or clear coat peeling, frame paint also looks great. There is some small rust spots on chrome fenders and the bottom of right side muffler has a rust spot on the underside near rear ,tried to show that in pics. I had bike brought back to riding condition with new tires, carb cleaning, new fork seals and oil, new brake pads and rebuild of both master cylinders. The inside of tank has a cream liner but tank is solid. The bike had a cassette player that i took off because it rattled like crazy and didn't work anyway, which you can have as well, and also the original tires which you can have as wellI has the full windjammer set which is in good shape...it was a 70s touring bike after all. Buyer is responsible for all pickup and shipping costs. After listing, i saw where it looks like a large scratch on top of gas tank, that is a reflection and tank paint is close to flawless.
