This 1979 Harley started life as an FX but was restored as an FL after a crash 7 years ago. I was the owner who crashed it, and I supervise the rebuilding, from stripping the frame bare to look for straightness, up through final wiring and assembly. I still have numerous of the receipts for parts and labor. The transmission, engine, and frame are all Harley-Davidson and all 1979. Aftermarket 6-gallon fuel tanks, newer stock Harley fenders, 1981 FLH front end. S&S Super E hand, carburetor and foot controls are from a 1999 Softail. BDL open belt primary (11/2" broad) kick start only. Customized paint as you can see (it's a GM color called Bahama Blue.) All signals and lights work, as does the horn. Keys are present and working for the ignition and saddlebags. The engine was reconstructed from the crank up by Custom Cycle Accessories, and the transmission was rebuilt by the Big Bike Shop.There are less than 6k miles on the bike considering that the reconstruct. I rode this bike last summer.It carried me, a traveler, and our equipment without any difficulties.
