1979 Harley Davidson Shovelhead. Reg. as 2003 Special Construction. I have had this bike since 2003. It?s a 1979 Shovelhead motor. 4 speed kicker only transmission. It is on a Santee custom rigid frame. It has a FXWG front end on it. This bike can be driven daily and is a good daily driver. I drive it daily thru the spring and summer. It was in Hot Bike Mag. Summer 2005 in Reader?s Ride section.Here are the details:Motor has 15K since complete rebuild splitting motor cases. Motor was rebuilt June of 2007. Everything new. S&S intake, carb and Air cleaner. Dyna Electronic ignition, Andrews cam, roller rockers, manley valves, Cycle Shack exhaust, dual plug heads, new stator. Remote oil filter. Shovel head covers and nose cone polished. I run synthetic oil in motor. Mobil 1.3 Inch BDL Belt Drive. Dry Clutch. New rear chain and sprockets.Transmission has 10K since complete rebuild. Have receipt dated 5/31/2008 for $936 rebuild. Rebuilt with Jim?s Machine/James gasket rebuild set. New Rachet Top.1980 FXWG front end. Dual disk front brakes. 21 inch front wheel. Avon Venom Tyres on front and back. Back brake is a Willwood Disk Brake.5 gal gas tank. Front fender is chrome. 16 inch apes. Front driving lights. Harley Davidson Front Leather tool pouch. Sealed Gel Battery. Oil temp and oil pressure and volt gauges. New Speedo with 3K showing. Factory shop manual.
