Description:

For sale. 10K delivered in the US, or make me your best offer and you pay for the shipping. All new just about everything and a fully rebuilt 1100cc engine. Let me know if you are interested. Will ship Worldwide. Here's the full details. 3 miles on the bike since it was built. FOR SALE I good friend of mine Mike Molinari aka "GRUMP" built this bike with a bit of my help. Unfortunately, by the time Mike got it done, his age and health went to shit on him. He never got to ride it. I built the engine, bored the triple clamps to fit CBR600F3 forks, built the battery box and electrical components brackets, and the frame conversion. On the frame I fully braced it just like the race bikes but I left the removable drop out tube in place. Mike did all the rest of the assembly and paint work. The bike was built as a rider. Not a show queen although it is a very nice motorcycle. The frame started life as an 80 CB750F. So, IMO it is the preferred frame with the 27 degree steering neck angle. The engine is made up of all the best Honda DOHC pieces. The cases came from an 83 CB750SC nighthawk. They are solid mounted cases so the engine is part of the frame. This makes the chassis much stiffer than the 900/1100 cases that are rubber mounted. They are what we call Donut cases which means they have extra webbing in them to make them less likely to flex. The crankshaft is a 1000C crank which is the same as a 900 crank. Less likely to crack than the 1100 crankshaft. The cylinder block is a 1000C solid block and has been bored to fit good used CB1100F pistons and new rings. (If desired. This solid block can be bored to fit 1100 sleeves or larger. This means it can be made into a 1220cc engine if desired)The transmission is also from a 1000c which is the closest ratio transmission and the strongest of all the DOHC transmissions. This is because it has 4 engagement dogs on more of the slider gears than any other model of DOHC CB. The head is a 1000c head with the best shaped combustion chambers of all the models. It is slightly clover leaf shaped which is what I do to the full-on race heads. The chambers are 2cc's smaller than the 1100 used which raises the compression to 10.7:1. It still runs on 92 pump gas just fine. The rods are the preferred CB1100 MA3 rods with the 17mm wrist pins. The cams are good CB1100F cams degreed in to 100x105 which is what Honda wanted these to be at. It got all new main and rod bearings, new Borg Warner chains A, B and primary.Upgraded Yamaha R6 sprag gear starter clutch.New primary hub rubbers.New clutch rubbers along with new EBC plates.V&H A curved cam chain guide. "Modified to fit properly" V&H A cam chain tensioner. New OEM 1100 B cam chain tensioner. All new seals, gaskets and Viton valve guide seals. The valves were reconditioned in house and all the seats recut to proper sizes. The oil pump was reconditioned. Meaning the rotors were refaced and the pump halves were faced to match the rotors. As new as you can get.New CR33 carbs. Dyna 3-OHM coils and new wires and caps.New K&N air filters.New SS brake lines. The brake calipers were rebuilt and new pads installed.New o-ring chain and sprockets.New YSS F3 shock sprung to fit the weight of this bike. New Pit Boss seat cover on a really nice seat pan.New Battle Axe tires on 17" F3 wheels. New GPS speedometer. All of the plastic is in great shape with no cracks or repairs.New Hindle exhaust system.New Oil cooler.New SS oil lines.New front master cylinder cup and cap. Both master cylinders were re-built with new K&L parts. The pivot bolt was upsized to fit the 17mm F3 swingarm pivot size with a custom SS bolt and nut made to fit this frame. New OEM intake boots. Not cheap Knock-offs.New OEM petcock. Not a cheap knock-off. New Shorai Lithium battery with new Shorai battery charger and a quick connect for easy charging and battery maintenance.New "Ricks Stators" Voltage regulator to work with Lithium batteries.New Superbike Handlebars.Tail light tuck etc. etc.I will also include Euro sport kit foot plate mounts and all the needed bits. Mikes knees don't bend so much anymore. So, he put CB1100F mounts and components on it for a more comfortable riding position for him. They can be easily swapped out for a sportier riding position. This bike was broke in on a Dyno at BRG Racing in CA. Without the cams degreed in. It made 108RWHP and with the cams now degreed in it should make about 112RWHP. A stock 1100 made 105 to 108 to the crankshaft. So this is a healthy CB1100 engine. It is what Honda should have put in the 1100F. All the best parts IMO. I have done the 1st major tune up and changed the oil, filter and checked the cam chain tensioners. I also checked the valve clearance which was still spot on at .005" to .008" where I first set them up at. If I could afford it. I would buy it and have myself a ready to go bitchen bike that most will only dream about. $10,000.00 shipped in the US or pick it up in Sandy Oregon for $9,000.00We will ship the bike Worldwide at the buyers expense. Title and bill of sale included.
