The 1979 CR 125 R Elsinore was a radical departure from the past five model years. The all red bikes were giventhe nickname; "Red Rockets". The up pipe, long travel suspension, right hand drive system, and sleek overall designwith the bright red frame and beautiful new gas tank design caught the eye of many enthusiasts. This particular bikehas been on display indoors since 2009. There has been no gas put in the tank, and it has not been ridden since I haveowned it. This would make a nice addition to your office or man cave, or could be set up to vintage race or just enjoyriding laps at your favorite track. The only non OEM parts on the bike are the tires, handlebars, and the rear shocks.Overall, the bike is in great condition; the photos tell the story. There is paint rubbed off on the lower frame rails by thefootpegs and the engine cover by the shifter by boots wearing against the surfaces while riding. The rear rim also hasa mild dent. The kickstand was removed previous to my ownership, if the new owner wants the shop stand shown in thephotos I will include it with the sale. There is also an owner's manual included. No warranty is expressed or implied forthis 1979 motorcycle. I will keep the bike stored indoors until the new owner is able to pick it up. Payment by certifiedcashier's check, bank wire transfer, or cash upon time of pickup.
