Sold complete with trike kit. Has been a Patriot Guard Mission trike since I joined in late 2005 in St. Louis. I am the 2nd owner, bought her in July of 2001 and converted her for use with one arm. I just put the clutch on the right side below the brake lever and have been riding her around the country ever since.I added Daniel Boone forward controls, Kuryakyn turn signals, a sissy bar and pad, Crane single-fire electronic ignition, newly rebuilt the original generator, new starter, new relay, brand new rear brake pads, had top end bored .040 with 10-1 pistons and heads that were redone once. I just opened the transmission this month to replace the original clutch plates and replace 2nd, 3rd & 4th gears as there was some chips on them. 34 years without cracking the bottom end! Now that's an American Built motorcycle. I've been to the top of North Dakota, to way south here in Texas. From East Kansas to East Ohio on her. Pull a 500 pound trailer a lot on my trips. The kit is a extra 450 pounds and never has the clutch gave me trouble. The original owner had her 22 years and never took her more than 50 miles from her original shop. She rolled out of A-D Farrow's first shop in downtown Columbus, Ohio on May 29th 1979.I have a new seat that I haven't put on yet, lots of original parts a 6 inch pull back handle bar I never got to put on. I like the racing bars on it.Thunder, as she is named, is a looker. Everyone acknowledges her when I go by. Honking horns, waving arms, taking pictures, following me to a store or gas station to talk to me about her.And when I do PGR Missions, she gets asked to ride in front of the hearse a lot with my big flags flying. (US & POW).She has only 4 speeds, goes only about 65, can push it higher but I don't unless I have to. We've been across the country on US highways and back roads. She runs in parades, on all holidays with my big flags, and smaller flags on my daily use. She rides in all weather, from -10 to +104, in rain, sleet, sow up to 6 inches.I have original books on her, service manual, parts manual and operators manual Just put the clutch on the left side and you're gone!!!Interested parties.....
