Used 1980 YAMAHA XS650 "SPECIAL II" Motorcycle for parts or fix (bring it to life) with clean Title. This motorcycle has not been running for 6 years, it had a well warn ignition brushes, running off the battery which I later found out my self since no "EXPERT" mechanic could diagnose it then. Engine has good comprehension, turns easily when you try to kick start, has good tires that will pass inspection, excellent instruments with 28,000 miles on the clock: What you'd need to bring this legendary bike to life: a seat, new cables, gas tank, have carburetors cleaned/reworked, gas tank and a battery and you'd have you a very reliable motorcycle with an almost indestructible engine that the XS are know for. This bike was not abused, mechanical ignorance on my part and pretend mechanics (because of worn out ignition brushes) led it to sitting this long. I had to buy another 1979 XS Special II to replace it which I still have. Please look at pictures carefully and contact me with any other concerns. Motorcycle is located in Strasburg, VA 22657, outside of Winchester, VA. Winning buyer must deposit $200.00 as down payment, pay rest of amount via PayPal before picking up bike and is also responsible for picking up of bike.
