This is the sweetest Yamaha Triple in the mountains. It's an all original Yamaha XS850SG Special Triple in "New Yamaha Black" which back in the day meant black with blue metalflake (factory). This bike is in tremendous condition and rides like a dream. For those of you not familiar with this bike, this is a 3 cylinder bike and not a V-Twin or V-Four. That's why it's called a "triple". This bike is officially considered a "classic" (32 years old) and in this condition, a highly prized classic. This is a steal at this price considering it's rarity in this condition. Only 25K miles. Just look at the pictures, they do most of the talking. This bike has never been in an accident or laid down. The chrome is excellent and the bike starts right up on the first crank whether by electric or kick. There are no dings or dents anywhere. There is no body damage anywhere. The only addition that is not original is the backrest and leather bag on the back. This bike would be best suited for someone who loves a vintage ride and isn't afraid of a slightly bigger bike with the power to boot. Triples have torque and this bike is not different. With the K&N filter I have installed, it runs at about 84 horses. This bike is perfect for someone who already has some riding experience or an upgrade for someone who has already ridden smaller cc bikes. Either way, this bike will get the attention it deserves and always gets noticed no matter where you go. The price is firm unless you come with cash and are ready to buy a bike.
