Classic motorcycle! This is not a scooter. The Silverwing name was resurrected by Honda in 2001 for the scooter on steroids. The Silverwing motorcycle was produced by Honda from 1981 to 1983. The motorcycle I have for sale is an Interstate model and has the trunk and both hard saddlebags. It also has the aftermarket extender that allows the trunk to be mounted behind the passenger seat. I have worked on this bike during the two years I've owned it to put it in very good mechanical condition and keep it that way. Current mileage, as of the photos, is 21,147. I do ride this bike almost daily, so this will increase as time passes. I have had the front forks rebuilt, the rear monoshock was rebuilt, the carburetor cleaned and rebuilt, put a lining in the gas tank so it now has no rust, bought a permanent air filter, changed the oil and oil filter regularly, changed the final drive oil and bought a new battery this year. There may have been other things I've done that I've forgotten at this point. The bike is in excellent shape mechanically, but it is over 30 years old. Something else may need attention tomorrow, so the bike is being sold as-is. It is currently registered and was just recently inspected. The inspection is good on it until April 2013. We have clear title in hand and are ready for a sale. Please contact me with any questions or for further information.
