1981 Moto Guzzi G5 v1000 Police bike with 592 miles / 951 kilometers. Everything except the fuel and brake lines are original. The windshield was replaced with a new old stock one. The carburetors have been completely rebuilt. The electrical system has been gone through and the points were replaced. The braking system was flushed, master cylinders rebuilt with new pistons & soft lines replaced with braided Italian made ones. All fluids are fresh as well. It runs great and the transmission shifts better then any Guzzi I have ridden! Very strong. It has a tear in the seat that can be restitched. I think the leather was just brittle when I got the bike. The red lights on the front do flash and it has a high voltage charging system. It's very unusual to find a bike like this with all the parts, bags, blinkers, etc though the horns / sirens were not on the bike when I acquired it. All lenses & electrics are original CEV Italian made. This bikes starts, idles & accelerates like a Moto Guzzi with only 500 miles on it should. Just to be clear the G5 was a manual shifting bike unlike the automatic Convert of the same era. The bike will obviously need to be maintained and is sold as is. There are no dents but there is some discoloration as you can imagine there would be with a bike stored for 30 years. It does currently run great and I would be confident riding it on multi hour excursions.
