THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION1981 SUZUKI RM 465 – Original Condition, Not RestoredThis auction is for a 1981 Suzuki RM465. As shown in pictures, this bike is inoriginal condition and still stands on its original tires. There has been norepainting or touch-up to prepare this bike, only a good washing. I purchased this bike in 1982 and sporadicallyrode it on dirt roads or woods trails until 1985. From 1985 until today, the bike has beenkept in a climate controlled garage. Afterevery ride, I always hand washed the bike, never using a pressure washer. This bike has been perfectly maintained throughout its life: Every few rides the wheels were removed, brakes cleaned, all pivot points inspected, cleaned and lubricated, air filter and chain cleaned and lubed, and oils changed if when needed. The engine, which runs perfectly. It has never been taken apart and is alloriginal. Due to that the originally installed stock Suzuki OEM Mikuni carburetor did not use an idle stop screw to allow idling, and to make this bike much easier to start, ride and run better, I installed a new Lectron Flat Slide Powerjet carburetor, which iscurrently on the bike. (NOTE: The originalMikuni carburetor is also included with this sale). The bike currently also has Maier replacementfront and rear fenders and Gator fork boots installed. Theoriginal front fender, which is without damage, is also included. The onlyoriginal plastic I do not have is the rear fender. Furthermore, all the cables on the bike have been upgraded to "Terry Cables." As noted below, the original cables are also included. Two chains are included: (a) original chainplus a (b) “Regina” replacement chain. Additional items included with the purchase of this motorcycleinclude:· Original OEM Suzuki Manual plus OEM Suzuki RacePrep Manual· Clymer Manual· New Fuel Tank Stickers Original Mikuni carburetor· Original Cables (Clutch, Brake, Throttle, plus extra Terry Throttle Cablefor Mukuni carburetor)· Miscellaneous Lectron Carburetor Parts (BowlGskt., Needle, Float Seat Asy.)· New Front “Sprocket Specialist” Sprocket· New Set of Front & Rear OEM Suzuki BrakeShoes· New Leak Proof Fork Seals· Two Chains; Original & Regina Replacement Chain· Original Front Fender Miscellaneous Gaskets and Suspension SealsIf desired, but not included with this auction, thebuyer of the motorcycle will have the option to purchase a new set of MaierFront & Rear Fenders and side panels. NOTE: This Motorcycle is sold with a clean “Bill of Sale.”PAYMENTThe winning bidder (i.e., Buyer) pays a non-refundable $250deposit via PayPal within 24 hours of auction’s end. The buyer must contact theseller within 48 hours of auction’s end to arrange both payment method andpickup method. Motorcycle must be pickedup within 30 days of auction’s end. Itis the Buyer’s responsibility to arrange all transportation, shipping, or pickupof motorcycle. The motorcycle will not be released without full payment inseller’s hand or known to be securely in seller’s bank account.
