1981 Yamaha Virago XV920R chaindrive. I built this bike for myself and i left some patina, there are some spots on the frame where the paint is worn off, I left it that way on purpose, I wanted this bike to have a "ridden" vintage look. New partsPaint on tankStainless spokes and new alloy rimsDunlop K75 tiresWheel bearings, seals, head bearingAll cablesFront and rear brakes, front is an XS1 drum, rear is TX750Oring ChainNew VM34 carbs with velocity stacks, has brass screens and Nylon filter caps, can add cone filters if you'd likeTarozzi clipons, I can change to different bars if you'd likeForks rebuilt with Progressive springsRear shock is brand new Hagon made specifically for this bikeStainless fendersPetcocksPolished stainless hardware, engine and some on frame etcCloth fuel line and plug wires12 cell Antigravity Lithium batteryLed tail light and HeadlightCustom made subframe and seatNew Starter with upgrades, I have done many of theseNew ignition including coil upgrade, most all electronics are new, I go thru the harness, replace, repair and simplify to only what is required. Very simple harness and all new connectorsExhaust, I have two mufflers to chose, you can have the stainless meg, or the Peashooter. Personally I like the looks of the peashooter better, looks the part betterGrips, levers, perches etc all new, I don't mess around This bike has been built to be ridden and have some vincent styling cues. A blast to ride, it is comfortable, suspension is not harsh, smooth ride. The seat may look a little thin but trust me, it's way better than 90% of those "ironing board" seats you see the kids running these days. The tires are new Dunlop K75s, they handle nice and aren't like those firestone bricks you see on other bikes. This bike is very quick and light. The chrome/stainless/aluminum has a brushed look.
