For sale is my 1982 FXRS When they bought out AMF in 1981, this was one of the first bikes Harley produced It is a rubber mounted 1340 Shovel Head and it was just made for 2 years (1982-1983).Nice story on the FXRS history here http://www.hotbikeweb.com/bikes/sepa...ys-history-fxr.I am the second owner of this bike and have had it given that about 1989.I had the Top End rebuilt about 1000 miles back. The Bike runs Strong.I rode it to and from work for the recently while I was doing some work on my Electraglide. She ran great!The paint has some problems and need to be redone. I had the paint job done around 1991. There is some rust under the mural. The petcock started leaking on me a number of years back and by the time I discovered it some of the paint on the tank began to bubble. I sanded it down and primed it but never ever had it repainted.I put a Custom Chrome Wide Glide conversion on it around 2001 along with new bars and forward controls. I still have the initial triple trees, and deal with bars if you want to take it back to stock. I may still have the mid controls but I would have to look.I dislike to sell it but I simply inherited a 1957 Servi-Car from my Uncle and I require room and money to start working on it. It will be an unfortunate day when it leaves my garage.Please call me if you have any concerns. I also have sold a great deal of high dollar electronic camera equipment on Fred Miranda online forums under the very same user name.
