There is a tool tray but it has had some corner repairs; solid but not pretty. the bike is equipped with a pair of BMW Touring Cases on black BMW mounts. the carbs were rebuilt front Master Cylinder rebuilt installed a braided stainless front brake line front Steering Bearings replaced. We de-carboned the heads lapped the valves replaced the rings and resealed the top end. We also replaced the cam chain and tensionor and front seals plus installed a new rear main seal and oil pump Oring. There are duplicate keys for the bike. the front forks were inspected and found good. We would be happy to answer any questions you have about this BMW motorcycle; please call us at 614.837.XXXX. There is a brown style sidestand plus the stock sidestand is still installed (we will remove if you desire). the saddlebag locks all work and have a key. With the bags giving you lots of secure storage and the smaller motor providing plenty of power to be safe on the freeway yet get great fuel mileage this bike would make a great daily commuting bike. If you would like to take this bike out on a test ride please plan it for a dry day and call 24 hours ahead to schedule. the bars are long Euro low but we are willing to change them at no charge if the new owner desires. the Dunlop Tires are in very good condition. With the addition of a small plexi shield this bike would also be great for either the single touring rider or 2-up day touring (if the passenger is not too far above average size). the seat has a custom cover. There are a few typical small chips and scratches in the paint but they have been well touched up and are not easily noticed. This 1983 BMW R65 is fully serviced and ready to ride. We have extensively reconditioned this bike. We still need to fix some typical lid top cracks on the BMW Touring Cases; this will be done soon. We inspected the top end and found that the valve guides were good but the rings were poor. the bike had an aftermarket ignition system that was not functioning properly so we removed it and replaced it with good used and tested OE components. 1983 BMW R65 SOLD....
