Description:
Placed into a storage unit in good condition for over 10 years. Experienced mechanic purchased bike to fully restore it. He did a great job!! Purchased from this mechanic when his health forced him to close his shop. Plastic body fairings, saddlebags, and trunk have some fading on the paint, but no serious dent, or cracks. Clear plastic windshield has fuzzed up like enclosed car headlights do with age. Squealing sound in tach cable, but goes away when speed get over 50 mph. All sensors and digital readout on the dash work, except the one for low water in battery. (Battery water is fine, new battery, sensor is bad.) First year Yamaha had shaft drive! No rear drive chain! (new seals , gaskets, and bearings on drive shaft.) New tires, brakes, clutch and gas cables, new lights, too. If the DMV issued antique license plates for motorcycles, this one would have one! Passed safety, and is current on plates for this year. Has square trunk that mounts on rear, I just have it off in the pics.
