For sale is fairly simple 1983 Yamaha 500 project bike. Obvious front end damage. Sold with salvage title. Frame appears straight with the primary damage limited to the front fork area, gauges, ignition and turn signals. Appears very clean from the steering head on back. Tank paint is good with only one small ding on the starboard side. I have the tank key. Seat is exceptionally nice. Tires show wear but still have lots of miles left. Was running OK prior to accident. I have a replacement triple tree with risers that go with the bike. Right hand side battery cover is missing. No documentation of miles since the gauge pod was totally munched. A very stylish Virago design with mag wheels and legendary Yamaha reliability. Restore it. Bob it. Chop it. Part it out.
