Vehicle informationHistory1984 MK1 Yamaha Venture RoyaleThe 1,198 cc (73.1 cu in) V4 engine from the Mk1 Venture was modified for performance and was used as the engine in the Yamaha V-Max. Many of these changes were incorporated into the Mk2 version of the Venture. Yamaha resurrected the Venture Motorcycle in 1996 as the Royal Star, then later brought out a full touring version in 1999 as the Royal Star Venture.MechanicalTwo primary versions were produced. The Mk1 from 1983 through 1985 had a 1,198 cc (73.1 cu in) (referred to as 1,200 cc) engine and removable trunk and bags.[2] The Mk2 was produced from 1986 through 1993 and had a 1,298 cc (79.2 cu in) (referred to as 1,300 cc) engine with the trunk and side bags rigidly mounted. Both models had a full frame mounted fairing with an AM/FM cassette stereo, an air suspension control system with onboard compressor, and electronic cruise control. A CB radio was an option.The drive package on the Venture Royale includes a liquid cooled V-4 engine. It has four valves per cylinder, overhead camshafts, and shim over bucket valves. The five speed transmission is part of the engine case and both the engine and transmission share oil. The drive shaft and final drive assembly are built into the left side of the double sided swing arm. Swing arm motion is damped by an air preloaded monoshock mounted in the center of the frame. No cleaning and I do hate to see it happening!if you will love it, please take it!Priced to let it go!Like I said, other than some rust on chrome here and there it is a great bike, it can use a new left speaker and the left side saddle bag is scratched it has some very minor cracks from Sun on plastic parts. nothing big or relevant enough to affect the fair good conditions of which I am offering this bike!It is LOADED with accessories! trailer Rich, etc...price is firm. Sold as is! sale is final.Have original service book and owner's book too.I can and would deliver this bike any where in a cargo van if the trip expenses are all pre paid for.test drive only allowed inside my one acre gated property at your own risk after $ deposit is paid.Bike is kept in a covered area.Clean titleNo accidents ever. This bike never touched the floor other than over her tires!TRADES: I will consider it as full or even partial for a Sailboat, diving boat, wave runner or RV / Motorhome.
