This motorcycle is 100% factory original. Everything on the motorcycle is fully stock and original/genuine (OEM) from Yamaha in 1984. This is exactly what it looked like when it rolled off of the Yamaha dealership floor in 1984. This is one of the most beautiful Yamaha Venture Royal 1200 motorcycles that I’ve seen. I’m the second owner of this bike. The original owner (an older gentleman) treated this bike like a rare diamond and it’s easy to see with condition that its in! The motorcycle has been extremely well taken care of and garage kept 100% of its life. It’s extremely hard to find a Yamaha Venture Royal in the gorgeous condition that this one is in. This is motorcycle is absolutely solid cosmetically, mechanically and most importantly, the way it drives. This motorcycle is solid in every required category. On average, vintage/classic Yamaha Venture Royals like this that are found these days will usually be in poor cosmetic condition based on being left outside and poor upkeep. Either way, they are altogether hard to find these days. It’s amazing how new this motorcycle looks knowing that it’s a vintage/classic motorcycle that’s almost 40 years old. It’s so beautiful, it almost looks like it was recently rolled of the factory line in terms of it's condition.The factory paint is also original and gorgeous. The Yamaha factory paint on this motorcycle is a two-tone burgundy color setup. It is one of the best-looking paint schemes out of all the Yamaha Venture Royal models that were ever made. The two-tone burgundy color paint scheme with the shiny/mirror finish gold Yamaha emblems/logos really make this motorcycle stand out and attract attention. It’s extremely easy to ride and unbelievably comfortable. It’s a fantastic motorcycle! You have the option to literally take it across the United States of America, coast to coast and feel like you’re sitting in one of your favorite computer recliner chairs. That’s the genuine feeling that you get when you ride it in terms of comfort and security. You simply don’t get that kind of comfort with the newer bikes these days.Not only is this a piece of art but it’s also a very useful and valuable tool in terms of transportation. With a more than generous 5.2 gallon fuel tank, it will effortlessly get over 40 miles to the gallon while still being very powerful and easy to ride (it’s a very docile and responsive motorcycle).This Yamaha Venture Royal 1200 touring motorcycle has a bit over 20k original miles on it which is extremally low mileage for this type of 4-cylinder tourer. These Venture Royal motorcycles are designed for cross-country travel and can effortlessly run for thousands of miles coast to coast. This motorcycle looks beautiful and is unbelievably clean! It’s not in perfect condition, there are cosmetic blemishes and imperfections on the motorcycle but without a doubt the motorcycle looks absolutely beautiful. These Venture Royal touring motorcycles were designed to exceed 250,000-450,000 miles on the engine with no problems. These engines are bulletproof and will literally run indefinitely if maintained properly. The motorcycle is ready to ride. The motorcycle was serviced earlier this year by a certified/licensed motorcycle mechanic. Since the servicing, only ethanol free gas has been put in the motorcycle. The front tire is brand new and has less than 20 gentle miles on it. The breaking system on this bike is fantastic. One of the great things is it has dual front break calipers that are designed to be very heavy duty. They are very responsive. The front break system on this Yamaha was definitely ahead of its time and future proofed. This motorcycle is special because not all the Venture Royals had dual calipers on the front. It's a very reliable system and very safe. And the rear brake system is amazing too. The motorcycle hasn’t been ridden much since I became the owner. I’ve mainly been using it as a display piece in my garage. The last time it was ridden was 3 weeks ago. I put about 20 gentle miles on it after the front tire was replaced. There are absolutely no oil leaks. I would be 100% confident in driving this motorcycle from San Francisco, California to St. Petersburg, Florida and back with no problems.This motorcycle has an NADA value of $8,755 (the reserve is much lower). This motorcycle is considered vintage/classic and the value is going up every single year. This is one of the nicest Yamaha Venture Royal 1200 motorcycles that I have seen. This motorcycle is unbelievably smooth, it has lots of power and it handles unbelievably well. All lights, horn ,left/right turn signals, front/rear brakes, tachometer and speedometer work perfectly. The radio, cassette player and antenna work (the antenna is removable). It also comes with a CB radio (all waterproof). The motorcycle comes with a clean title and the genuine/original Yamaha key. It also comes with the original Yamaha Venture Royal manual. Vintage motorcycles obviously do not have warranties, so this motorcycle is being sold as is. The buyer will receive the original clean title and genuine/original Yamaha motorcycle key the same day that they receive the motorcycle.This motorcycle is available to be shipped anywhere in the United States or Canada.
