This completely one off Harley was put together with a combination of 3 different Hawgs. The frame and VIN is all 1990 Harley Sportster that was taken down to bare metal before having the custom red powder coat applied. This not only looks great but is one of the most durable finishes you can apply. With the frame ready to go the decision was made to go with a little more modern and a lot more powerful 2003 1200CC Harley V twin. The 5 speed transmission was carried over as well giving this 1990 frame a complete 03 drive train. A custom Mustang gas tank was added which complements the lines of the frame nicely. The front end was taken from a 1999 Wide Glide and gives this bike a completely sinister look and stance. With the bike now built it had to be tore down and sent off to paint. Since there are few things as American as Harley Davidson an over the top patriotic paint scheme seemed to be fitting. With a slightly distressed look and 8 coats of clear on top the only word that comes to mind is glass. With reassembly about to begin there was one last detail to address, wheels. A set of custom made billet one piece wheels were sourced at a cost of over 3500 they weren't cheap but they definitely took this custom Harley to the next level. Sporting disc brakes both front and rear it not only runs great but can stop just as quick. With everything put back together and a number of chrome pieces added, from the oil tank to the mirrors and of course that awesome breather the list of parts just goes on and on.
