This Bimota Tesi is extremely rare. This 1/D ES model represents a very small number manufactured in 1990/1991 by Bimota as a licensed road motorcycle.The engine is a Ducati 900 Monster, air cooled version that remains to have carburetors acquired and installed. It weighs 180 Kilo dry and the all-in-one tank/rear fender and seat is a design that also incorporates the battery box at a low and central point of the motorcycle for added stability and handling. Front and rear suspension is original with new bearings and seals as well as the original entrusted hlins shocks. Note, there were only 164 of these bikes ever produced, which were sold for over $36,500. What you see in the photos are of the original motorcycle, with the exception of the Ducati engine, one piece fender/seat and tank, handlebars and headlights.
