Up for sale is A 1991 Suzuki DR650S with almost 27k miles. Asking $1500 Or Best offer.Serious buyers only. If you offer low all I will do is take your name and number and call you backif you are the best offer. This bike is still well worth $2k. Runs great, new tires with only 500miles,new spark plugs a month ago, New chain about 2-3 months ago. fresh synthetic oil changed 7/13/13, new clutchcable put on 7/13/13, Pro taper bars 7/8ths, top end rebuilt a little over a year ago, yoshimura exhaust, andall electronics still work except the tag lights and the turn light on the cluster. Neutral and bright stillwork. Now to the "bad". It is Kick start only. This bike was made for the dakar rally so no electric starterwas put on from factory. Unknown if you can put one on. Kickstarter lever needs a C clamp and a new bearingthat should cost no more than $5. Needs new rear inner tube or repaired, which can be bought for 20 to 40$The gas tank has a few dents from where previous owner laid it down and the exhaust has a scrape on it also.I could not repair it myself or buy a new one so I left it alone. It needs 4 inches of new fuel line that canbe bought for $5. It was giving me fuel issues before I parked it to order my parts to fix it. I figured outit was the fuel line being too short and being pinched so no gas was getting to it. The carb may or may notneed to be cleaned before putting it back on the road due to it sitting almost a month waiting on parts.Just put some gas in it and see if it sputters before you take off on a trip.If you would like to see it inperson please call 864-four-three-seven-5112 Ask for AARON.. I can crank it right up after about 2-3 kicksand let you see and hear it but due to there being no air in rear tire no test drives. You can sit on it andfeel the clutch and put it in gear and take off around my yard to check gearing if you like.I also Have a videoof it crunk up on 7/13/13 after oil change and a walk around on Youtube. It is the only newly uploaded videoof a 1991 Dr650S. It also being a single CYL this thing cost nothing to rebuild but you shouldn't have to doanything to it like that anytime soon. I've heard of these bikes going to 50-70k miles without needing it.With all that said if you are interested please give it a look on youtube first and if serious please call.Will consider any cash offers on the spot above 1k. Cash talks and I have CLEAN AND CLEAR S.C>. TITLE inhand. If I can't sell it in a week I am going to do other repairs and carb cleaning my self and sell it forMORE MONEY! Get it while you can if you want an enduro or to use it as a "dirtbike". At this price I don'tsee it lasting long because you can hardly find a 250cc or a moped for this price and in as good workingorder as this one. I'm needing, not hurting for money and don't have much time to put in it and go ride soit must go. 8am to10pm only please
