I amlisting this on behalf of my 70 year old friend and riding buddy of over 25years who suffered a stroke last year. He purchased the bike brand new in 1994,and he has owned it ever since. I would purchase it myself if I didn't alreadyhave one identical to it in my collection. He is a gearhead, and he maintainedthe bike meticulously. Oil changed every season, and a full service in 2019which included cleaning, rebuilding, and syncing the carbs, fork oil changed,new battery, new K & N air filter, brake and clutch fluids flushed. Theonly flaw on the bike is where a small chip in the paint was covered (obviouslyhe is not a paint and body guy). There is NOT a dent at all in that spotor anywhere else on the tank. For thevideo, I placed a microphone directly behind the cylinder bank in order to pickup any noises coming from the engine. No tapping, knocking or any other soundoutside the harmony of the machine doing what it does. The first run shows thebike shifting through the gears at everyday pace, and the second run is underfull acceleration revving close to redline through 4th gear and into5th gear. The main noise is coming from the drive train turningthrough the sprockets. The bike is rock solid stable at all speeds without anyissues. The video demonstrates the smooth shifting transmission and clutch inaction. This bike needs nothing! Everything including mirrors, levers, turnsignals, grips, pegs, lights, etc are original and function as designed. Thesebikes are built like a tank, and they should soldier on for another 30 yearswithout issue it maintained like it has been for the past 30 years. The bikeis available for inspection by prospective buyers or their representative. Testrides are allowed as long as rider has motorcycle endorsement on license,insurance, and is willing to sign a waiver. Do notmiss this opportunity to purchase a rear classic and collectible Honda from the1990’s. I am not sure how many were imported, but this one is number 484.A $500 deposit is due within 24 hours of auction close or buy it now option. The reserve is reasonable. Shipping is the buyers responsability, but I will assist buyer in the process, As an added bonus, I will deliver the bike free of charge within a 250 mile radius of Red Wing, Minnesota 55066.On Aug-01-23 at 12:25:58 PDT, seller added the following information:The bike comes with 2 silencers. Most photos the OEM unit, but the first photo shows a Renus unit that gives it deep rumble withou being loud. It also comes with original tool kit, owners manual, and service manual. I have been selling on eBay for 15 years, and I did not have a single negative feedback left from until 2 months ago. There was a death in my immediate family, so I had to leave the state for 3 weeks in order to attend to family members. The buyers item did not ship, but he was given a 100% refund. Please take a moment other buyers have left about the items I sell and the service they recieve in the process.On Aug-03-23 at 06:20:56 PDT, seller added the following information:The bike will have brand new Bridgestone Exedra g850 rear and g851 front tires installed before auction closes. 180/55ZR18 rear and 120/70ZR18 front with date codes in 2022.
