Up for sale is a very nice 1997 BMW R 850 R with just 22620 original miles. The BMW is in fantastic shape considering age and miles! Real BMW guys know that this bike is just broken in and ready to go for at least another 50 60k miles without any problems. The overall cosmetic condition is above average and shows just normal signs of wear. All paint looks still rich and shiny without any dull spots. All plastic parts and the seats are free of cracks.There are some small surface scratches on the saddle bags. There are also some surface scratches under the left cylinder. The mechanical condition is perfect without any issues. The motor runs great and the tranny shifts like it should. The ABS brakes are working perfect and they bring you quickly to a safe stop. These Brembo brakes are top notch in comparison to a newer model Harley-Davidson. Its just German engineering!One of the fork seal dust caps has some slight cracks, but again, its the dust cap, not the seal itself and there is no weapage. The rear tire is almost new and the front one is brand new. This is an awesome bike for a very reasonable price.
