This is one of the bikes that has become a classic in its own time. Beautiful, Sturdy, Strong running, Comfortable.The Harley Softail is a line of bikes that was introduced in 1984 and has been continuously upgraded. The Softail recaptures the sleek look of the old rigid frame Harleys from 1957 and before but adds hidden shock absorbers to tame the ride.This bike was owned by a local doctor who had the oil changed every 2,500 miles, no matter where he was. At 100,000 miles, this bike was given a new cam support plate, oil pump, chain tensioners, screamin' eagle cams and cam bearings. Absolutely immaculate and possibly one of the most well kept, road ridden Harley's out there.It currently has 100,150 miles, with a 5 speed transmission with a strong 88 cu in motor. This was also the last year for this model.The Bottom Line: The 2000 Heritage Springer is a great Harley with lots of retro appeal. Get there in style!
