Showroom new in every way and has always been climate controlled stored since new. All of the chrome, wire wheels, instruments, and trim on this Indian still looks like the day it rolled off the assembly line. Museum quality motorcycle. These unique Indians were built from 1999-2003 in Gilroy, California. Only a limited number of these bikes were built each year and these early Indians as this one with the S&S Engines are the most sought after and are becoming more and more desirable and fast appreciating. Very seldom ever seen these Indians stand out in the crowd of motorcycles as these bikes truly have that Classic Nostalgic look. These bikes have a very comfortable ride due to the hidden shocks and that softail style suspension. With the big wide "Beach Style" Factory handlebars makes for a perfect cruiser motorcycle. Easy to handle as well with the low 24" Seat Height. 1953 was the last production year for the iconic "Chief" and some forty-five years later the Indian Chief was reborn. Unlike Harley-Davidsons of this era, these Indians came with many chrome extras and some unique features. These Indians featured the entire front end and lower fork tubes chrome plated, chrome inner and outer primary, chrome oil tank, chrome rocker boxes, chrome tear drop style air cleaner, 60 Spoke chrome wire wheels with stainless spokes, chrome handlebars and all handlebar controls chrome as well, polished aluminum belt pulley and brake calipers, all brake controls and clutch controls are polished aluminum, stainless steel oil and brake lines, Distinctive Front and Rear Fenders, Powder coated glossy black engine with polished fins, glossy black powder coated frame, Floorboards, classic gauges, and the list goes on. Only 541 Actual Miles (not a misprint) with Documentation and Odometer Statement. Extras include LED Chrome Tombstone Tail Light Assembly, (Fits in stock existing holes with no modifications to rear fender), Chrome Voltage Regulator, Unique Chrome Gas Tank Emblems, Nostalgic Coil Cover, Chrome Indian Chief Arrow Shifter Linkage, Chrome Tappet Covers, Custom Made Indian Keys with Chrome Ignition Switch, Solid Glass Chief Head on Front Fender, Custom Painted Inserts in Brake Calipers and Derby Cover, Chrome Trim on Instrument Cluster and ends of front and rear fenders, and much more. This Indian Chief does come with the optional saddlebags as shown, detachable sissybay, Factory Indian optional windshield with the engraved Indian Logo on front, and a chrome highway crash bar. The saddlebags are in new condition with no wear on them. The saddlebags alone were a $1,500 accessory back in the day.
