The Safari Trek was built by Monaco coach builders, well-known for their quality coaches. This unit is powered by a 290 HP 454 Vortec Chevy engine mated with the well-known GM Hydra-Matic with 4-speed Overdrive. and sits on top of a Workhorse chassis. This is a hard-to-beat combination, and the current seller has been very impressed with his coach. Safari coaches have an aluminum-framed superstructure with a peaked aluminum roof and fiberglass insulation. This all helps in the heating and cooling of this coach. The kitchen area has lots of cabinet room with plenty of storage; you will find a microwave convection oven, gas cooktop stove, a dual-door refrigerator, and Corian solid countertops as well.
