Up for sale is a 2002 Yamaha YZF R1 which is in immaculate shape for the year and mileage. This is among the cleanest R1's we have ever offered and runs as great as it looks! It has a clean & & clear title and 29460 miles on it. The bike has all original bodywork in the gorgeous Yamaha racing team colors of white and blue. This was the very first year for fuel injection on the R1 and this is likewise the very best bodystyle they ever made which is why they are INCREASING in value compared to the newer R1's which are depreciating since they are not as popular as these pre-emissions designs. This bike has more low end and midrange than almost any other 1000cc sportbike made prior to or after it. This one simply had an extensive service including setting up a brand new OEM stator to fix the common charging system concerns these early bikes were plauged with. It also has a fresh battery, oil, coolant, filters, etc. The tires were just set up last summer and it hasn't been ridden much given that.
