This bike sold a week ago after having several people bidding on it. Unfortunately the winning bidder, who had never had either a purchase or a sell on eBay never corresponded or paid. The winning bidder was an obvious fraud. My apologies to the other bidders. This 2003 Aprilia 50cc two stroke sport bike is a factory replica of Aprilia’s 125 and 150cc two stroke racing motorcycles. I purchased it as my son’s first motorcycle because 50cc bikes did not require a tag or license in GA at the time. He learned how to shift the gears and look cool at 15 years old. He never had a hard fall, but he did drop it a couple of times at slow speeds. The broken clutch handle and the few minor scratches are shown in the attached photos. It has 3562 miles on it. The bad news on this bike is that the two-stroke oil pump failed and before my son realized it, the lack of lubrication caused the piston rings to wear prematurely. The 50 cc engine must be removed and have new rings installed because the compression is way too low for proper operation. Once the rings are replaced, the bike will once again be the fastest 50cc motorcycle ever produced. I strongly recommend purchase of this bike and to spend the $500 or so to get the engine back to specification because with only 3562 miles this bike is in fantastic shape considering it is twenty years old. I wish nothing more than for another young man to learn how to ride a racing street motorcycle that does not have too much power. The bike is located in Sandy Springs, Ga.
