The Concours motorbike is designed for the sport-touring lover who desires the engine and chassis performance of a sportbike, however requires the convenience and convenience needed for those extended roadway journeys that make life more intriguing. As a real sport-tourer, the Concours deals with twisty backroads as quickly as it cruises the freeway, thanks to a stiff chassis and 997cc liquid-cooled four-cylinder engine. The engine produces strong power throughout the rev range and a gear-driven counterbalancer smoothes vibration. The engine is matched to a six-speed transmission to keep the engine at a relaxed rpm at highway speeds. Naturally, convenience is a high concern on the Concours. It features a triple-density foam saddle, which is deeply contoured to easily seat both the rider and traveler. A full fairing produces an aerodynamic envelope for two when riding in a relaxed, upright position. 2 lockable bins are on either side of the fairing for added convenience. The Concours also includes a 7.5-gallon fuel tank for long-distance touring, and locking luggage separates with the flip of a latch for over night trips. Plus, the smooth flowing lines of the Concours include an aesthetic touch, and special panels can be protected to the sides when the saddlebags and installing brackets are removed.
