Up for sale is my very reliable 2006 Vstrom 650. I am the second owner and have loved every mile on it. I am selling it because there are too many others out there to try, but if I could afford a stable of bikes this would be in it. This is your swiss army knife of bikes, it is the starts first time, every time, runs flawlessly, do it all machine. Condition33,036 Miles and counting, it gets ridden on the weekend.Original chain was replaced at 23KValves checked at 23K and was within specPutting on new tires this weekendFluids were changed regularly (new filter with every oil every change)It is in excellent mechanical condition, some cosmetic scratches you would expect with a bike that has seen 33K.It fell once in a parking lot on the left side, and once on the right side going slow on some dirt, light scratches on fairing decal.Her quiet time was spent in the garage.Extras Included in PriceStock handguards from the Vee9V socket on left dash panelI also have the shop manual printed and in a binder.With all the above and the pictures below I'm asking for $3,700. I'm located in Dobbs Ferry, NY, 20 minutes north of NYC. I could deliver locally if mass transit is available or a ride back is provided. I would also pick you up from a local airport if you choose a fly and ride. Cash in hand gets you a test ride. I would accept trades of road bikes for equal or lesser value in ready to ride condition (surprise me, currently contemplating 90's VFR or SV650).
