2007 Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 cc Classic

Price:
$10,899
Summary:
Used 2007 Kawasaki Vulcan
Location:
Homestead, FL
Description:

This is one great offer at a reasonable price you can take advantage of now. This is a 2007 Kawasaki Vulcan 1600cc Classic Cobra Avon tires 180/70 rear and 150/80 R16 front filled with nitrogen. These are great tires and added to the value and the performance of this bike big time.$250.00 Paypal initial payment ;with the balance either in cash or a check which would need to be deposited and the funds available in my bank before bike changes hands. Email me for questions. This motorcycle requires the higher octane gasoline of 91+.This is my own garage-kept motorcycle, I am not selling it for anyone and am the second owner. Bought it from a reputable dealer and it has never given me problems and I have taken good care of it ever since, see below for last tune up info. With this large 5.3 gallon tank you could easily go 200 miles non-stop; I routinely do 180 in the city stop-and-go so I know it will do 200+ non-stop (Miami to Orlando for example). I have added the very useful and new luggage carrier with the comfortable backrest for the passenger. This sits on the luggage rack I also added to the bike. The luggage carrier is wired and a tracking light goes on when the hand brake is used, The original horn sounded like a bicycle horn so I added a powerful new horn and believe me, those blind spot drivers will hear you loud and clear now, adding to your safety. I also always use the little blind spot mirrors you can see attached to the right and left rearviews which you can remove of course but they are a life saver in and of themselves as what you see (or don't) is what you get, no more dangerous head turning while you're driving, just a short glimpse to the right or the left and you're good to veer into that next lane with no problem. So you have around $1k more in extras, new ones. I also added the small leather pouch you see on the bike to put a pair of sunglasses and the garage door opener, etc.Minor paint nicks on the ends of the bumpers can probably be blended back into the paint. Right side leather bag got a bit burned on the bottom but did not go through and naturally cannot be seen other than by lifting it and it does not affect its contents. The bike turns heads everywhere I go and looks terrific for a five year old. Brand new ignition switch just installed. The bike is paid off and I have the title to pass on.The bike has 34k miles on it right now but I ride it every week and will be adding more. Buyer makes arrangements for shipping or comes pick it up after the initial deposit and full payment is made (any check having cleared). I can suggest a shipper (i95transporter) I have used in the past who has excellent feedback at the uship.com site. Jim will give you a better price than most and is very reliable. I will work with your shipper of course.UPDATE May 13, 2013: There is a scuff mark on the silver luggage box (photo added 5/25/13).The lock for the box is an inexpensive type but works ok to keep your things inside and will fit a small helmet plus lots of other gear.Below I have put info on the bike pulled from an Internet site:Latest tune-up work done on Sept/2013:From the Internet:2007 Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 ClassicKAWASAKI?S BRAWNY VULCAN 1600 CLASSIC OFFERS MUSCULAR TORQUE AND SLEEK STYLINGAdditional power and handling for demanding ridersA mature adaptation of the original Vulcan 1500 Cruiser?s design, the Vulcan 1600 Classic adds a strengthened frame and extra power to take your rides to the next level. A low, ?stretched? chassis gives it a sleekness all its own. Matching good looks with muscular V-twin power, the 1600 Classic gives its rider an experience that?s hard to forget. With a 95 cubic inch V-twin engine providing plenty of low-end torque and excellent highway muscle, the Vulcan 1600 Classic has extra power for just about anything its rider chooses to do. Of course, extra power is nice for playtime, but when a trip calls for extended seat-time, the single-pin crankshaft provides a comforting rhythm that isn?t tarnished by harsh vibrations, thanks to the engine?s gear-driven counter balancer.A large, 41mm telescopic fork works with the stout frame, to provide maximum rigidity for superb steering feel, easy side-to-side transitions and excellent ride quality. Dual rear shocks with four-way adjustable damping deliver exceptional comfort for long days in the saddle. Cast seven-spoke wheels allow the use of large tubeless tires and wide fenders to give the 1600 Classic its tough look. The design details that make the 1600 Classic a one-of-a-kind American classic include a wide, pullback handlebar, stepped seat, dual slash-cut mufflers, and a multi-reflector headlight. Features of the integrated instrument cluster include an LCD screen, tank-mounted ignition switch, fuel-injection warning lamp, fuel gauge, odometer, tripmeter and clock.FEATURES:Engine- 1,552cc / 95 cu. in.
